So it’s been a little while since I last blogged. It’s been quite a chaotic time, including a highly eventful house move.
We had decided not to move for another year, but the next day we were approached by an estate agent with potential buyers. That was a prompt to look to see what was available, and we found a really nice house (which we now own). Throughout the whole process, which included all sorts of issues down the chain, I seemed to be quite relaxed and content. What could have been really stressful really wasn’t.
God is good – we handed it all over to Him and are now enjoying a new home. Even in the small things (comparatively) God is interested.
Before Jesus’ ministry began he was at a wedding where the host had run out of wine. Jesus stepped in and saved the embarrassment of the groom. In the grand scheme of things this is a fairly small event – not making the blind see, the lame walk, or the leper clean – this was a problem with hospitality. But nonetheless, Jesus stepped up and met the immediate need of those there.
When you a wrestling with the issues of life, no matter how small or big they may be, take heart that God cares.
